The hand-picked grapes were crushed carefully and the must fermented with indigenous yeasts in traditional oak barrels (Fuder). After the fermentation the wine is aging in Fuder on the full lees for another 6 months before bottling. Fresh and fruity nose of peaches, blackcurrant and pineapples. Refreshing but balanced acidity defines the palate, again with plenty of fruit. This Riesling is easy to sip with a nice grip of minerals in the long finish. Delicious to drink young as a well balanced white wine, this Riesling has potential to improve with up to 5 years of cellaring.
